Biography

Mrs. Annie W. Turner, 82, of the 700 block of West 34th Street, Norfolk went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2012. She was born in Halifax County, NC to the late Golee and Lendora Whitaker. Annie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 63 years, John Turner; a daughter, Shirley T. (Arthur) Arrington; three Grandchildren; seven Great Grandchildren; three Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at First Baptist Church, 418 Bute Street, Norfolk, VA. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery.
